THREE BLACK AMERICAN ARTISTS TO CELEBRATE

This class will explore the art and lives of Jacob Lawrence, Faith Ringgold and Betye Saar, three black artists who are now recognized for their impact on American Art history. This course will begin with an overview of the Harlem Renaissance and will also introduce the Black Arts Movement.
