MYTHS AND LEGENDS OF THE SAN ANDREAS FAULT
Is the “Big One” Really Possible?
SE 51
Embark on this unique adventure to examine the San Andreas Fault in the San Bernardino Mountains. You will learn how scientists study the fault to predict earthquakes. Your guide will present so much information about fault activity, local geography and geology that you will never look at mountains, rocks and cracks in cement the same way again! We will enjoy a picnic lunch in a serene lake setting. Walking shoes are suggested.
