CURRENT EVENTS AND ISSUES

CURRENT EVENTS/ISSUES FORUM
SS 304

This Class is a group discussion of issues that are of current interest. It meets on a Monday (Feb. 19, Mar. 19, June 18) or Thursday (April 19, May 17) of each month to discuss political, economic and social developments taking place locally, nationally and around the world.

The purpose of this in-depth conversation on current events is not only to better inform us, but also to share different perspectives on how worldwide events impact ourselves and others. Registered students will receive notice of the current topics one week before meetings and are expected to come to the class informed and ready to actively participate in discussion on the selected topics.

Note: Registration is limited to 70 participants since this is a participatory discussion group not a lecture class.
