THE LITERATURE OF GAME: JOAN DIDION IN THE JUNGLE
THE LITERATURE OF GAME: JOAN DIDION IN THE JUNGLE
AH 102
Always a prescient writer, Joan Didion was among the first to sense the way gaming began to loom large in our culture. This class will read “Democracy,” a short novella, and examine other Didion works in terms of the representation of gaming: war games, social games, political games and authorial games.
