Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving

As the first underlying competency listed in the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, the importance of analytical thinking and problem solving within the BA role cannot be overstated. The practice supports effective identification of business problems, understanding of the needs of stakeholders, assessment of proposed solutions to those problems, and the presentation of options for resolution. This course will provide students with real world business situations for analysis, critical thinking, problem solving and most importantly ways to present the analyzed facts, provide options and learn ways to communicate results based on different styles of management.
